1. Create something meaningful to yourself (type in Word so you can be sure of spelling and don’t lose it if there are tech issues)
2. Try using same text in both tools—What do you notice?
3. Why would you use one tool over another?
4. What did you discover about each tool?
5. What do you like or dislike about the tool?
6. Could shapes make it more powerful? If so, when might you use a shape?
7. Take text from a website you like and watch what happens to it. Where is the emphasis of the speech or article? What would it look like if you put your own latest writing into a wordle? What words would be largest because they are repeated often?Sketchup

1. Set up an account so you can save your creations—let me know if you need an educator’s account and I will set that up for you
2. Explore each tool and compare—what do you like best about each?

4. Create a viable cartoon about something worthwhile
5. Blog your discoveries, problems, ideas ,purpose of cartoon
